Odessa Wynelle Dean, 100, of Tifton passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Oak Ridge Cemetery. A memorial service will be held for Miss Dean in the fall.
Born November 25, 1919 in Ty Ty (Worth County), Miss Dean was the daughter of the late William Thomas Dean and Judy Hobby Dean. She was also preceded in death by one brother, JC Dean; and one nephew, Robert Gary Dean. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Miss Dean is survived by one nephew and his wife, John Thomas and Barbara Dean of Jacksonville, Florida; and a nephew, JD Connor of Orange Park, Florida; a niece, Brenda Connor of Orange Park, Florida; one great-nephew, Kyle Thomas Dean; and one great-niece, Katherine Elizabeth Dean.
