Iva Nell Edwards,70, of Water Valley, MS, died February 10, 2006 in Baptist East, Memphis, TN.
The daughter of the late Ivan and Lois Womble Edwards, she was a graduate of the Greenwood-Leflore Hospital School of Nursing and a retired RN from the Yalobusha County General Hospital in Water Valley. Nell was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oxford, MS.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, February 12, 2006, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2006 with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Nell is survived by her sister, Jo Edwards Alexander of Portageville, MO and the many friends, classmates and work associates she left in Water Valley.
In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by two sisters: Carloyn Edwards (November 1932) and Jean Edwards (December 5, 1987).
