Michael D. Stone, 55, of Chester, NH, died Saturday April 4, 2020 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Newton, MA on March 10, 1965, and had been a resident of Chester for many years. Michael was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, and Plymouth State College. He had been employed as a special education teacher in Manchester, NH.
He is survived by his father, Malcolm R. Stone of Chester and his wife Diane M. Lucas; two brothers, Daniel C. Stone, and Christophor R. Stone; and three sisters, Elizabeth C. O'Mara, Diane M. Stone, and Barbara Ann Stone. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara (Simmons) Stone in 2010.
Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
