Mable G. (Woodruff) Denny, 102, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 3, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on November 1,1917 in Summitville the daughter of Newton and Gertrude (McComb) Woodruff. She was a graduate of Summitville High School and worked for the Anderson Community Schools as a cafeteria manager for 16 years, retiring in 1980. Mable attended Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children; Pat Doutt of Hoagland, IN, Clyde "Butch" (Patsy) Denny of Anderson , Kay Miller of Gas City , and Doug (Sue) Denny of Anderson; 12 grandchildren, Sheryl (Dannie) Sipe, Ron (Chris) Doutt, Tina (Tim) Myers, Bob Doutt, Kelly (Paul) Nail, Rick (Cindy) Harvey, Angi (Att) Looper, Denny Miller, Tammi (Craig) Wagner, Jami Lowe-Colley, Kerri Denny, and Todd (Michele) Denny; many great and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. .
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Clyde J. Denny who passed away in 2008 and 11 siblings.
Private family graveside services will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Christian Center or Salvation Army.
