Anthony Peter Thompson, 59, of Smithfield, died Saturday, March 28th, 2020.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Angela Theresa (Mazzei) Thompson Terry and the late Gerald Ronald Thompson. He was the owner of APT Distributors for many years. Anthony was a long-time member of the Twin River Club 100, as well as a fun-loving uncle to his many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Geraldine Loffredo and her husband, Robert of Scituate, Debra Hoard and her late husband Michael, of Warwick, Robert Thompson and his wife, Rebecca, of Florida, Donna Clukey and her husband, Thomas, Jr., of Smithfield and Lynn Gudeczauskas and her husband, James, of Saunderstown, as well as his sixteen nieces and nephews, and his many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John Thompson.
A private funeral service was held.
