Winn of Brockton February 9, 2006, Helen E. (Mendosa) Winn, 90 years. Wife of the late John E. Winn. Mother of J. Kevin Winn of W. Bridgewater and the late Judyth A. Kenneally and Dianne E. Michienzi. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 pm.

Obituary
Mrs. Winn died Thursday morning at West Acres Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Middleboro, a daughter of the late John E. and Elizabeth (Gerhardt) Mendosa. She had been a long time resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1935, where is also played basketball. Before her retirement she was employed as an LPN in local Nursing Homes among them Madalawn and West Acres Nursing Home. She was a member of the Reunion Committee Brockton High School Class of 1935 and former member of the PM Club in Brockton. Communicant of St. Margaret Church. She was a well known seamstress and was a fabulous cook. She had a magnetic personality and no party could start without her.
She is survived by one son J. Kevin of W. Bridgewater, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, two brothers Frank S. Mendosa of W. Yarmouth and Wilfred Mendosa of Lake Worth. FL. and many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. .
