In Loving Memory of Ann Raylene Clark
February 2, 1942 ~ March 20, 2020 (age 78)
It is with sad hearts we share that Ann passed away in her home in Framingham, surrounded by her family, on Friday afternoon, March 20, 2020. Ann was born in Natick, Massachusetts. She married Alfred Clark in October of 1979. Ann was incredibly devoted to raising her family and truly enjoyed all the beautiful simplicities God created in life. She worked at Juniper Hill Elementary School as a secretary and food services aid for many years. She was also a school bus driver for several years. Ann built wonderful relationships with all of her school kids, and everywhere she went there was always a child she knew running to give her a hug. She was a loyal member of South Middlesex Baptist Church in Framingham where she attended for many years. Ann loved to spend her summers in Maine with her family - there was nowhere else she wanted to be. She had the kindest and most gracious soul, her heart was so big, and she was always the first to offer words of encouragement and affirmation. She was witty, full of fun sarcasm, and always had the biggest smile.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years Al Clark, and as she would say, even on her final days, “The one and only love of my life”. She also leaves behind her son, Jason Clark, her daughter Julie Wamburu and her husband, Felix, her daughter Jennie Giardina and her husband, Matthew; 2 grandchildren, Ava and Ethan Wamburu, and one on the way, Anthony Giardina; one brother Gordon Blanchard and his wife, Eloise, and a large extended family. She will be dearly missed by all.
Due to the current state of circumstances we’re all facing, a memorial service will be held in Ann’s honor on a date that is yet to be determined. Her family will have a small intimate ceremony in Codyville Cemetery in Maine at a later date as well. Donations in Ann’s name may be made to the South Middlesex Baptist Church, 86 Bridges St. Ext., Framingham, MA 01702.
