Kenneth M. Smith passed away on March 20, 2020 at the Bedford Veterans Administration Nursing Home. He was 95 Years old.
Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Medford. He was a WWII United States Army Veteran and worked years ago for the Mystic Valley Potato Company. Kenneth was also a longtime employee for the City of Medford Sanitation Department and retired when he was 62 years old. For his pastime he was a fond lover of hockey and the Boston Bruins, and loved skating and playing hockey with his friends back in the day. Kenny was very active and enjoyed going to Foxwoods with friends and spending holidays with family. He was a loving and caring person who will be greatly missed.
Kenneth was the devoted husband of the late Evelyn (Reardon) Smith. He was the son of the late Robert and Sarah Smith. Kenneth was the cherished father of Diane Yenowskas and her late husband Walter, Linda Duke and her companion Frank Sico, and Kenny Smith. He was the loving grandfather of Dawn and Matthew and father in law of Steven Duke.
In accordance with the Department of Public Health and restrictions on gatherings due to COVID-19, private services will be held on Thursday March 26th for the immediate family. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
