Robert G. Bisciotti, Sr., age 80, formerly of Philadelphia and New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Countryside Health Care in Milford. He was the beloved husband of the late Maureen R. (O’Connell) Bisciotti.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 4, 1939, he was a loving son of the late Augustine C. and Maria Y. (Marinelli) Bisciotti.
Bob grew up in South Philadelphia and was a graduate of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He furthered his education, graduating from King’s College in Pennsylvania and received his Master of Business Degree from Drexel University, also in Pennsylvania.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Bisciotti worked for General Motors, a career that spanned thirty-six years and which he worked his way up the ladder to the position of a Personnel Director. He was also proud of his service to his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve.
Bob was always happiest when in the presence of his adoring family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devout Catholic, an avid Philadelphia and Notre Dame sports fan and enjoyed sitting down to a friendly game of poker.
He is survived by his devoted children: Robert G, Bisciotti, Jr. and his wife Joan of Michigan, Brian J. Bisciotti and his wife Cindy of Mansfield, Patricia A. Bisciotti of Florida and Stephen J. Bisciotti and his wife Melissa of Medfield. He was the cherished grandfather of Jeanette, Johnathan, Michael, Bianca, Josephine and Jason and the dear brother of MaryAnn Gillane of New Jersey.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and place to be announced. Visiting hours have been omitted and burial will be private.
