Mrs. Jean C. (Young) Imbornone a resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Domenic Imbornone, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on Tuesday evening, March 17, 2020. She was 89 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on December 24, 1930, she was the beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Klara (Gertz) Young. Mrs. Imbornone was Billing Clerk and was employed by Balco Corporation in Boston for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and traveling. She will be dearly missed.
Jean is survived by her loving sons; Thomas E. Imbornone of Medford and James F. and his wife Juliana Imbornone of Methuen, sisters; Ann Lambert of Kittery, Maine and Ellen Faletra of Somerville, grandchildren; Michael, Valerie, Carina and Alexander, great-grandchildren; Cormac, Nailah, Grant, Jordan and Maeve and several nieces and nephews. Jean was also the loving mother of the late Donna J. Franey.
Funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
