Yvonne J. (Turner) Burgo, 82 of New Bedford died March 15, 2020 at Hathaway Manor.
She was the wife of the late Charles Knuckles. She was the daughter of the late Olive Turner and the sister of the late Louise Houtman, Alma Condol, Herbert Turner, Barbara James, Norman Turner and BettyAnn Rosa.
She was a life long resident of New Bedford and worked many years for St. Luke's Hospital as a home health aide up until her retirement.
Survivors include 4 sons, Kenneth Burgo, Steven Burgo and his wife Shelley Mendes, Kevin Burgo and Dale Burgo and his wife Lorena, all of New Bedford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Gordon "Skip" Burgo Jr. and Dana Burgo.
Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, her visitation, Funeral Service, and burial will be private for immediate family. A public service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
