FOLLOWING THE MANDATE AND PROTOCOL FROM GOVERNOR BAKER, WE HAVE MODIFIED THE FUNERAL SERVICES FOR THOSE THAT PLAN ON ATTENDING.
Relatives and friends will still be allowed to attend calling hours on Wednesday March 18, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway although the funeral home staff will be following the mandate which will only allow 25 people in the funeral home at any given time and social distancing will be strongly encouraged while waiting to enter the funeral home.
If attending the calling hours, please realize that the family will encourage people to move along quicker than usual and may not be in personal contact with you, ie; hugging, shaking hands, etc. Sheryl’s family also understands that friends may refrain from coming due to the current crisis.
Sheryl J. Sheppard, 55, of Bridgewater formerly of Medway passed away at home peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday March 11, 2020. She was the devoted daughter of Harold C. Blethen of Franklin and the late Faith Carberg Blethen. She was the beloved wife of William A. Sheppard.
Sheryl was born in Framingham on January 2, 1965 grew up in Medway and attended Medway schools and graduated from Medway High School Class of 1983 and then graduated from Framingham Union Hospital Nursing School as an RN in 1986.
Besides her Husband, she is survived by 5 children, Bryan J. Owen, of Bridgewater, SSG. Michael S. Owen (USA) of Ft. Knox, KY, Courtney F. Owen, of E. Bridgewater, Theresa A. Owen, of Middleboro and Adam J. Owen, of Bridgewater. Cherished Grammy of Chloe F and James M. Owen of KY. Sister of Roger Blethen of FL, David Blethen of Hopkinton, Sandra Carew of Holliston, and Susan Ludwig of Arlington.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
