Asia M. (Lopes) Silva, 77, of Dartmouth passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at home after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Maria L. Silva and Joao Silva, she lived in Dartmouth for most her life.
Asia always made people feel warm and welcome in her home and her life. She was loved by all.
She is survived by her children, Debra Ramos, Dianna Holley, Darlene Middlebrooks and her husband Willie, Derek Silva, and Aja DeAndrade; her siblings, Geneva Seerattan, Claudio Cardoza, Jr., Cookie Barros, and Beverly Silva; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Sylvester DeAndrade, her son Darren DeAndrade, and her siblings, John Silva and Maryann Roderiques.
