Roy F. Stowe

Roy F. Stowe, 72, of Anderson, died March 11, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born October 14, 1947 in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1965. He was a supervisor with IOSHA for 29 years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and landscaping. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and attending their activities.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janet Coxe-Stowe; 7 children; Rhonda (Brian Adams) Bledsoe of Bel Air, Maryland; Richard (Nichole) Stowe, Ryan (Amy) Stowe, Alicia (Brad) Freyholtz, Ronnie Coxe, Andy (Autumn) Coxe, and Cheryl Watson all of Anderson; Grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Adams, Jared, Alex, Dallas, and Kamryn Keller and Grace Stowe, Garett, Gabe, and Grant Stowe, Kennedi, Blaize, Karis, and Amelia Freyholtz, Nicholas, Lucas, and Eli Coxe, Adrienne, Audrey, and Andrew Watson; and great grandchildren Kinsley, Jacob and Karter; brother, Bobby Stowe and sister, Elizabeth Stowe.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Konner Stowe.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Anderson Critical Care Unit and Dr. Pablo Molina for the extraordinary kindness and compassion they showed for our husband, father and grandfather.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 4PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 PM Sunday before the service.
