Thomas O. Sharples, 86, of Fairhaven passed away on Saturday March 7, 2020. He was the husband of the late Sandra E. (Harrison) Sharples and son of the late Thomas and Rose A. (Lantain) Sharples.
Tom was formerly employed as an equipment installer for Verizon until his retirement.
During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by three children, Doreen and Brett, Chris and Dianne, Tom and Sue; two stepdaughters, Tenney and Lib, and Heidi; twelve grandchildren, Ryan, Zachary, Trevor, Michael, Mathew, Holly, Thomas, Daniel, Jared, Tamra, Jacob, and Faith; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 13, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
