Diana M. Medeiros
TEWKSBURY: Diana M. (Silva) Medeiros, age 57, a resident of Tewksbury for 28 years, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Medeiros, with whom she would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on June 9th, and daughter of the late Eduardo Silva and Gloria (Pereira) Silva.
Diana was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal and raised in East Cambridge. She attended Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High & Latin School.
She was a devoted wife and mom to everyone. She was all about family. Family meant the world to her.
Diana was always so humble and kind and would help anyone with anything.
She was the best cook and always loved to laugh and tell stories in detail.
Diana loved going to yard sales and finding great bargains especially on vintage items.
She was the best “Nina” to her grandchildren. Her kids and her grandchildren were her world. She will be missed dearly by everyone.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Derek J. Medeiros (Brandy) of Hudson, NH, Lisa M. Hammell (Frankie) of Windham, NH, Cheryl M. Morris (Paul) of Pelham, NH, Ashley M. Cabral (Michael), and Trisha M. Medeiros all of Tewksbury; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan and Charlie Medeiros, Kaiden and Jordan Hammell, Myah, Emmie and Mikey Cabral, and Camden Morris; Siblings, Rosa Afouxenides, Lucia Grasso, Debbie Husbands, Arnold, Joseph, Jorge, Carlos and Luis Silva. She leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Diana was the stepmother the late Richard J. Medeiros, Jr.
Calling hours are Wednesday, March 11 from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Thursday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury.
