LIMINGTON- Christopher “Chris” Schildroth, age 64, passed away on March 6, 2020 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born on Dec. 6, 1955, grew up in Saco and attended Thornton Academy.
Over the years, Chris has been employed as a truck driver for several companies, including Emery Waterhouse and Kris-Way Trucking. He also was employed as a machinist for most of his life in numerous shops most notable
for D & G Machine and Arundel Machine.
Chris will always be remembered for the enjoyment he had playing badminton, working on cars and sharing his love of music, playing pool, riding motorcycles, playing board games and other games with family members and he was most proud of learning to fly single engine airplanes throughout the State of Maine.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Priscilla (Anderson) Schildroth; children- Matthew Anderson of Limington, Benjamin Anderson and his partner Rachel Walker of Standish, Nathaniel Anderson of Limington, and Reuben Anderson of Limington; mother “in-law”- Rita Anderson of Buxton; and grandchildren- Secilia and Octavia Anderson.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday March 12 from 4 – 6 PM, followed by a time of sharing at 6 PM, at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com
