DAYTON- Roger Weston Mooers, age 84, passed away at his home in Dayton on March 3, 2020.
He was born in Dayton, Maine on July 23, 1935, son of the late George and Mable (Boothby) Mooers.
Roger served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Throughout his life, Roger was self-employed as a carpenter.
He will always be remembered for the enjoyment he had spending time with family, working on projects, car racing, tractor pulls, and snowmobiling.
He is predeceased by a son- Larry D. Mooers and a sister- Gloria Girard.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife- Jean (Hanson) Mooers; children- Pamela Riche of Buxton, Mark W. Mooers and his wife Kim of Dayton, Barry R. Mooers and his wife Donna of South Carolina, Scott B. Mooers of Lyman and Jay K. Mooers and his wife Linda of Saco; siblings- Laura Severance of Hollis, Allen Mooers of NY, Maxine Bineau of Waterboro, Dennis Mooers of Waterboro, and Douglas Mooers from Waterboro; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery will be announced this summer

DAYTON- a graveside service with US Army Honors for Roger W.
