Mrs. Deborah Anne (Kelman) Nigrelli, a resident of Andover, MA, formerly of Great Neck, NY and beloved wife of Matthew T. Nigrelli, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Saturday, February 29, 2020, after a hard-fought, six-month battle with cancer. She was 44 years old.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the beloved daughter of Oscar J. and Christine Fukilman of Great Neck, New York. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Debbie earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree (JD) from Suffolk University Law School and had begun a successful career before becoming a stay-at-home mother with the birth of her dearly loved children.
Debbie was passionate about her family and became a devoted and loving wife and mother, as well as aunt to her niece and nephew. Her family came above all else in her heart and mind and she dedicated her life to raising her children in a compassionate and nurturing home. In addition to caring for her family, Debbie’s other passion was animals which she’d always connected with and adored.
Debbie truly touched the lives of countless people throughout her life and established many treasured friends and relationships over the years she’d lived in both New York and Massachusetts. She will be deeply and profoundly missed by all those she loved.
Besides her adoring husband, Matthew and parents, Oscar and Christine, Debbie is survived by her loving son and daughter, Zachary Ethan Nigrelli (11yrs) and Emerson Paige Nigrelli (6yrs), both of Andover; her sister whom she cherished, Jennifer Schnider, and her husband Richard Schnider, and their children, Avery and Ryan Schnider.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, followed by a gathering with light refreshments at her home in Andover. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
