Romeo J. Goulet, 76, of Woonsocket died Friday February 21, 2020 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born and raised Manville he was a son of the late Mozart and Aline (Soucy) Goulet. He was a resident of Woonsocket for most of his adult life.
Mr. Goulet was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He received his degree in business from Johnson & Wales University.
Romeo was employed by the Veterans Administration in Providence for 30 years until retiring.
Romeo was well-known as an employee at Kays in Woonsocket. He also resided on the premises of Kays.
Romeo had a number of hobbies and pastimes including hitting the golf course and enjoying nature while fishing and hunting.
Romeo will be remembered and loved by his Family. Also, by his Kay’s Family.
Romeo is survived by a son Keith Goulet and his wife Kristen of Dillsburg, PA and his former wife and friend Pauline Shillingsford and her husband William of Harrisburg PA. He was the grandfather of Kaelyn, Karoline and Kameron Goulet and brother of Rachel Marquis, Charles “Charlie” Goulet, Robert “Bob” Goulet, Theresa “Terry” Chevalier, Maurice “Moe” Goulet, Jeanne Guilmette and the late Lucille Broulliard and Rita Carr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to https://www.operationhomefront.org
