HOLLIS- Barbara Ann Napolitano, age 79, passed away at her home on March 1, 2020.
She was born in Westbrook, Maine on May 5, 1940.
Throughout her life, Barbara was well known as an interior and exterior designer for her beautiful forest lake home in Gray and was employed as a bartender and host by many local restaurants including Bruno’s and Maria’s in the Portland, Westbrook area. She spent time in Texas, employed as a high end clothing authenticator for a women's department.
She will always be remembered for her love of playing with grandchildren, gardening and landscaping her yard, and for going to her dear friend Kay Reed’s hair salon. Her words of wisdom and need to include everyone will surely be missed. Around the holidays her favorite saying was “The more the Merrier.”
She is predeceased by her husband Earnest Napolitano; Mother (meme’) Louise Markley ; her son- Garry LaChance in 2016; and two brothers- Richard and Eugene Desfosses.
Barbara is survived by her siblings- Paul and Becky Desfosses, Sister in law, Sandra Desfosses grandchildren- Desiree LaChance and her child- Jordan and Brad-Lee LaChance and his children- Isaac, Madison, and Aryah.
Services will be private.
