Veronica A. (Bryan) Tracey passed away peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on Friday morning. She was 95.
Born at home on Thanksgiving morning, Veronica was the daughter of the late Joseph Aloysius and Helen Ester (Davis) Bryan. A life-long Medford resident, Veronica was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Veronica loved to dance and ever since she was a little child she took lessons. She was so good that her teacher invited her to operate the studio, Bryson School of Dance in Medford Square. Throughout her later years, Veronica worked as a clerk for the City of Medford, serving in the Cemetery, Public Works and City Clerk’s offices. A generous and selfless woman, Veronica will be remembered for her kindness and care for family and friend alike.
The beloved wife of the late Patrick S. Tracey who passed away in 2013, she was a devoted mother to Janet Quigley and her late husband Ronald, Kathleen Raimo and her husband Dennis, all of Medford, Patrick J. Tracey and his partner Aimee Farrell of Billerica, and Daniel B. Tracey of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Erin Piazza, Kate Quigley, Colleen Freda, James Tracey, Meaghan Raimo, John Raimo and loving great-grandmother to Emmeline Piazza and Theodore Freda. The dear sister of the late Thomas, Joseph, John, James, William and Robert Bryan, Helen Gillis, Ruth Bryan, and Genevieve Bryan, Veronica was a devoted aunt to Joseph A. Bryan and many other dear nieces and nephews.
Veronica’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday March 5th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home, Wednesday 4-8 PM.
