Christopher C. Vincelette Jr., age 23, passed away on Feb. 23, 2020. He was born on March 27, 1996 in Springfield, MA. He was a communicant of St Thomas the Apostle Parish. Chris was a graduate of West Springfield High School where he was active in Lacrosse and Golf. He worked as an Automotive Technician for CARite in Windsor Locks, CT. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, golfing, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle as well as being a car enthusiast. He was a fan of the New England Patriots, enjoying tailgating and attending games at Gillette Stadium. Chris was also an active member of Club Fitness in West Springfield. He played pool for the Connecticut American Poolplayers Association (APA) on “Big Finish” and “Shark Bait” teams. He is survived by his Mother, Alyce (Morytko) Vincelette and her husband Edmund P. Taddey of West Springfield; his father Christopher Vincelette Sr., of East Longmeadow; his grandparents John A. Morytko Jr of West Springfield, Edward J. Hart and Cecile Vincelette of Chicopee; Edmund S. Taddey and his wife Patricia M. Taddey of Chicopee; his great- grandmother Alice Taddey of Springfield; a nephew Joel Vincelette of East Longmeadow along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who will miss him dearly. He also leaves his beloved family dog Jasmine. He is predeceased by his sister Sara E. Vincelette, his grandmother Sylvia F. Morytko and his grandfather Carl Vincelette. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tues., Mar. 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St Thomas the Apostle Church followed by burial in St Thomas Cemetery.
