Randall W. “Randy” Morrison, Sr., known to his friends as “Frank Buck”, 77, of New Bedford passed away at home on Monday, February 24, 2020.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of the late James Morrison and Evelyn (Bock) Morrison Agostinho and her husband George Agostinho, he lived in the New Bedford area for most of his life.
He attended New Bedford Vocational High School and graduated as a machinist.
Randy served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
He was formerly employed by the H.P. Hood Company of Fall River for many years as a milkman. He was later employed, until his retirement, by the Aerovox Company in New Bedford as a maintenance specialist and also worked evenings at The Standard-Times in Fairhaven.
Mr. Morrison was the loving father of four children and three grandchildren that meant the world to him. His happiest times were spending time with his family and he looked forward to the holidays, especially Christmas with the kids. He enjoyed fishing, camping and enjoyed being outside in the warm sun during the spring and summer seasons. He was also an avid New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan.
Survivors include two daughters, April Morrison of South Dartmouth and Wendy Glass and her husband Daniel of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Randall Morrison, II and Jason Morrison, both of New Bedford; his daughter-in-law, Christine Oliveira Morrison of New Bedford; his brother, Tyler Morrison of Dartmouth; three beloved granddaughters, Mckenzie Marie Glass of Virginia Beach, VA, and Abigail Ocean Morrison and Alexa Mae Morrison, both of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Joanne Boehler and James “Buddy” Morrison.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
