Virginia L. (Romano) Moro, of Stoneham formerly of East Boston and Malden passed away peacefully in the presence of her family, on February 21, 2020. She was 75 years old.
Virginia was very involved in her community, working as a paraprofessional in the Malden School System as well as being the past president of organizations such as Malden Kiwanis, Jr. Aide of Malden, and V.I.P. Bowling.
Virginia is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Robert Moro. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Maria (Brogna) Romano. Virginia was the loving mother of Heather Moro and Alicia (Moro) Skiba. She was the sister of the late Louis Romano II. Virginia was the cherished grandmother of Kyle Cottam and Jackson Brennan. She is also survived by granddogs, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
The funeral will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday February 27th at 8:45am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
