SPENCER:Keith E. Northup,62, of 63 Brook's Pond Rd., died peacefully,
Saturday, Feb. 4 at his home after a courageous battle with A.L.S. (Lou
Gehrig's Disease).
He leaves his wife of 15 years, Rosamond A. (Martin) Northup, a son Scott E.
Northup of Spencer, a daughter Tracey L. Mannix of No.Brookfield, his father
Royal E. Northup of Philmont, N.Y., a brother Mark Northup and his wife
Doris of Minneapolis, Minn., his precious grand daughter Ashlyn Perro who
was the light of his life, two step sons Michael Perro and his wife Amy of
Spencer and Jason Perro and his wife Melissa of Leicester, three step
grandchildren, Megan, Thomas and Michael Perro, and several nieces.
Mr. Northup was an electrical sales representative and estimator for several
area electrical contractors including Grabar Electric Co. in Worcester
before retiring due to illness. Keith and his wife worked in the real estate
business for many years and also owned and operated Ashlyn & Meg's Antique
Shop in Spencer.
Born in Hudson, N.Y., he was the son of the late Elinora (Parlman) Northup.
He graduated from Dean Junior College and Univ. of Conn. He enjoyed golf and
was a loyal Patriots and Red Sox Fan.
A Prayer Service will be held Friday, Feb. 10 at 10:30 a.m. with a
visitation beginning at 9:30a.m., in J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23
Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park,
Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 9 from 5 to 8p.m. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to A.L.S. Assoc. of Mass., 75 McNeil Way,
Suite 310, Dedham, Ma. 02026.
