Agripina Colon-Rivera, 88, of Worcester died Wednesday, February 19th surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her two sons, Carlos Lopez of Orlando, FL, and Luis Lopez of Worcester; her daughter, Odette Lopez of Worcester; two brothers, Felix Colon and his wife, Erlinda of Muscatine, IA, and Perfecto Colon and his wife, Miriam of Luquillo, Puerto Rico.
She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Placido Colon and Arcadia Rivera. She immigrated to the United States in 1995. She was a devout, active member of The First Worcester Pentecostal Church and spent much of her time praying. She also enjoyed doing crafts and cooking the best homemade "pasteles".
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by her funeral service at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
