Lorraine A. Maddalena, 84, formerly of Maple Gardens, North Providence, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Greenville Skilled Nursing. She was the widow of Armando Maddelena who died in October, 1989.
Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Edward McCaffery and the late Abeona (Gervais) Knowlton. She had lived in North Providence before moving to Smithfield three years ago.
She is survived by her children: Gary Conboy of Florida, Justine Westmoreland and her husband, Joe of Florida and Karyn Fraielli Rhieu and her husband, Dennis of Glocester. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a brother, Bradford McCaffrey, Sr. and his wife, Betty of Warwick. She was the stepmother of the late Rosemary Testa and Armand Maddalena.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation will be Saturday morning, 8:30-9:30 am.
