Kimberly R. (Johnson) Merrill, 57, of Franklin, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Byron Rex Merrill for 23 years.
Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 26, 1962, she was the daughter of Rosemary (Fernandez) Levesque of Springfield, Massachusetts and the late Harvey Levesque.
Kimberly was a resident of Franklin for the past 25 years.
She had worked as a principle training specialist at Sanofi Pharmaceutical for five years.
Kimberly enjoyed spending time with her family but most especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Nina Kriz and her husband Steven of Franklin, Adam Merrill of Texas and Amy Rhodes and her husband Chase of Texas and four grandchildren, Nicholas Kriz, Elizabeth Kriz, Fiona Rhodes and Billy Rhodes.
She is also survived by two sisters, Dorianne Rushing and her husband Bob of North Carolina and Kristine Fortier of Southwick, and her nieces and nephews, Caitlin Fortier and her daughter Adalyn Clark, Alyssa Bowman, and Michael and Alec Fortier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m. - Noon in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
