Evangelos Goulas, age 88, passed away at home surrounded by the acre and comfort of his family on Feb 15, 2020. He was born in Paliovraha, Greece on Apr. 8, 1931 to the late John and Evangelia (Tsipou) Goulas. Evangelos worked as an Auto Mechanic for many years before he retired. He was predeceased by his wife Panagiota (Antonopoulos) Goulas; one son, George Goulas and three brothers, John, Athanasios and Efthimios Goulas. Evangelos leaves one daughter, Demitra Murray and her husband Thomas of Springfield; one son, Paul Goulas and his wife Ann Marie of East Longmeadow, one brother, Costas Goulas of Greece; two sisters, Vasiliki Manousakis and Pelagia Goulas of Greece; five grandchildren, Evangelia, Victoria, Lukas, Natalia and Angela and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held on Wed, Feb 19, 2020 at 9 am at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Funeral Service at 10 am at St George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Springfield. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues, Feb 18, 2020 from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
