DeLois "Dee" Whiddon Spearman, 77, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, at Cornerstone Hospice House in Sumterville, Florida. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Spearman will be laid to rest at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born December 13, 1942 in Valdosta, Mrs. Spearman was the daughter of the late W. D. Whiddon and Lois Crumpton Whiddon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Waco Spearman; and one brother, Billy Whiddon. She was a homemaker and attended Wahoo Baptist Church in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. She loved her family and friends and, above all, her God. She loved the outdoors, especially mowing grass; she loved her V-Star motorcycle; and she loved her dog, “Snickers”.
Mrs. Spearman is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Tracey Blease of Biloxi, Mississippi, Randall Spearman of Thomasville and Richard and Kathy Spearman of Wildwood, Florida; two daughters and one son-in-law, Denise and Carlton Millett of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida and Robin Watts of Lady Lake, Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Liz Whiddon of Eldorado; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Whiddon; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
