Michael J. Tracy, a resident of Lynn and formerly of Somerville and Charlestown entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers. He was 82 years of age.
Michael was born in Boston on September 14, 1937, a son of the late Frederick L. Tracy and Alice R. (Grennan) Tracy. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Michael entered into the United States Army on February 3, 1955 and was honorably discharged on February 27, 1958 with the rank of Private. Michael worked as a machinist for Kimball Machine in Somerville for many years.
Michael was the loving husband of Roberta (Ducey) Tracy. He is the beloved brother of Frederick Tracy and his wife Anne, Alice Spinney and her husband William, Arthur Tracy and his wife Barbara, and the late Julie Foley, Jim Tracy, Dick Tracy, and Joe Tracy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
