OXFORD – Ann M. Chaput, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Knollwood Nursing Center, Worcester with her family at her side.
She leaves 3 children, John M. Fura of Oxford, Jodi A. and her husband Charlie L. Vasquez of Douglas and Michele A. White of Charlton; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Fura, Adam Fura, Michael Fura, Ethan Vasquez, Agatha White, Charlotte White and Gavin White; a brother,1 Robert R. and his wife Geraldine Chaput of Cumberland, RI; a sister, Louise M. and her husband Kenneth Losiewicz of Cumberland, RI; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, a daughter of Romeo J. and Lillian M. (Boudreau) Chaput. She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1959.
Ms. Chaput first worked for many years as a billing supervisor for Memorial Home Health in Worcester and later as a customer service representative for McKesson Pharmaceuticals in Newton, MA.
She enjoyed painting and was a talented artist. She had a love of Scrabble and spent many hours playing with family. She was a gifted sewer and loved creating many things. She loved game shows, puzzles, football and her beloved Tom Brady. One of her favorite vacation spots was Cape Cod. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster. Calling hours will be from 10:00 until the time of services. Burial will be private. The family asks that donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
