Tampa, FL – Chung V. Tran, 39, of Tampa, FL and formerly of Worcester died in his home on February 3, 2020.
Chung is survived by his parents, Nganh Tran and Gai Le of Worcester, MA; his 5 brothers and sisters, Hiep Ellis of Shrewsbury, MA, Thut Doan of Auburn, MA, Thu Murzycki of North Grafton, MA, Cuong Tran of Weymouth, MA and Viet Tran of Worcester, MA and many nephews and nieces.
Mr. Tran graduated from North High School and then continued to further his education by earning a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College in Business Administration and master’s degree in engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Chung proudly served our country by enlisting in the United States Army and worked as a computer specialist. He could often be found either playing games on his gaming console or on his computer but he was the happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his nephews and nieces.
Mr. Tran had a love of traveling and recently moved to Florida, but he previously lived in the Philippines and Texas after leaving the Worcester area. Chung was a selfless person who always put the needs of others ahead of his, this characteristic is just one of the many that made him to be loved by so many.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, February 10th and Tuesday, February 11th from 4 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, MA. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12th at 9 AM in the funeral with burial to immediately follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
