Carol Jean Underhill, 77 of Iron Mountain Michigan passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at her current home in Auburn, Massachusetts.
Carol was born October 8, 1942 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Daughter of the late Roland and Dorothy(Uren) Underhill. Carol had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Iron Mountain, Michigan and remained an active member throughout her life.
Carol attended Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1960. She attended Michigan State University for two years. Afterwards she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended School of Radiology Technology at Lutheran Hospital where she received her certificate and licensed as a Certified Radiology Technologist. Later on she joined the Columbia Hospital Radiology Department and retired from Columbia Hospital after 30 years of service as Assistant Manager of the Radiology Department on February 2007.
Carol was loved by all who knew her and touch the hearts of many with her kindness, generosity, empathy, friendliness and sense of humor. She loved her Green Bay Packers, and never missed watching a game. She also loved "pontooning", fishing, traveling' and on her younger days, downhill skiing. Most of all, she loved to socialize with friends and family.
Carol is survived by her brother Jack (Pauline) Underhill of Kingsford, MI, her life partner of 39 years, Olga Henry; Olga's children, Susie and Michael and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carol was precede in death by her parents, Dorothy and Roland, her brother Richard, her (infant) sister Patricia and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
