Jerry F. Solimini, of Windham, NH, formerly of Medford, and Boston's North End, passed away on Saturday, February 1st. He was 77. Born in Boston and raised in the North End. He was the son of the late Ciriaco and Rose (Circiello) Solimini.
Jerry enjoyed reading his daily newspaper, solving crossword puzzles and cryptograms, religiously watching Jeopardy while bluntly reminding everyone not to interfere as he blurted out all the correct answers. A natural musician Jerry loved to play the piano and Saxophone, and listening to Motown songs on his radio.
Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family. He was passionate about being the best Papa to his two grandchildren. He was a dedicated husband, a wonderful dad, the best Papa, dear brother and great friend. He will be greatly missed.
Jerry was the beloved husband of Janice (Pagliarulo) Solimini. He was the devoted father of Gianna Solimini, and her wife Bianna and Ali Solimini. He was the loving Papa of Dante Solimini and Valencia Cardarelli, and the dear brother of Lisa Cucinotta, and the late Lucy Giuliano, Mary Imbergamo, Carmine, Nicholas, Frank and Anthony Solimini. He is also survived by many loving friends and family members.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, February 8th at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Cemetery On The Plains, 5 Cobbetts Pond Rd, Windham NH., 03087.
