FALL RIVER – Alice Correia, 92, a 60+ yr. resident of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Leo Correia and the daughter of the late Joseph & Margarida (Tavares) Cabral Viveiros.
Prior to retiring, Alice worked for Princess House as an inspector and had previously worked at the Sagamore Mills for 20 yrs. She had been a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by her son: Bruce D. Correia (wife Elizabeth) of Somerset; grandchildren Joseph and Allison Correia; great-grandchildren Gabriella, Isabella and Brayden Correia. Alice was predeceased by her son Andrew L. Correia and 2 grandsons Ryan Joseph Phelps and Andrew Bruce Correia.
Her calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday morning, February 7th from 9:30-11 A.M. with a service to immediately follow. Private interment. www.rogersfuneral.com.
