Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Glenn T. Miller, age 65, a resident of Tewksbury for 38 years, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.
He was the husband of Judith A. (Rowe) Miller, with whom he would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 1st.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 11, 1940, he was the son of the late Victor R. and Florence (Larner) Miller.
Mr. Miller was raised in the greater Chicago area. He attended Chicago, Illinois schools and graduated from Tuley High School in 1959.
In 1963, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Mr. Miller and served during the Vietnam War with the 115th Intelligence Group. He was honorably discharged from active duty on June 13, 1966, and awarded the Good Conduct Medal.
Prior to his retirement, he was self employed for many years as an auto mechanic. Mr. Miller previously worked as a tool salesman for the MAC and MATCO Tool Companies.
He enjoyed woodworking, computers and tinkering with cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter; Lynda S. Miller of Tewksbury, one son: Gregory B. Miller and his wife Janet (Ethier) of Wilmington; two grandsons; Atley and Layne Miller both of Wilmington; four sisters; Marilynn Miller of Joliet, IL, Claudia Bowen of Middleton, WI, Karen Fink and her husband Gaylen of Buffalo Grove, IL and Laurina Miller of Trophy Club, TX; one brother; Thomas Miller and his wife Barbara of Arlington Heights, IL; his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Albert and Beatrice (Jones) Rowe of Lowell; fourteen nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Monday, Feb. 6th, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8th, at 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 are requested.
