Ann M. (Martinello) Kwiatkowski, lifelong resident of Medford, passed away Thursday, January 30th. She was 86. Born in East Boston and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Lucy (DeSimone) Martinello.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Kwiatkowski. She was the devoted mother of Linda Kwiatkowski and Joseph Kwiatkowski and his wife Joanie. She was the loving grandma of Danielle Messina and her husband Nicholas, Lindsey Kwiatkowski and her fiancé Chris Flynn and Kelli Kwiatkowski, and the great grandma of Nico and Gemma. She was the dear sister of Celeste Gallo and her husband Frank and the late Carl Martinello. She is survived by a niece and nephews.
Ann worked at FiServ in Somerville for many years. She enjoyed Sunday road trips with her husband Joe; spending time with her son Joe, Joanie, their children and grandchildren; shopping every Saturday with her daughter Linda; going to casinos with Joe, Celeste and her husband Frank; having 'Club' once a month for many years with Celeste and their friends Barbara, Virginia, and Norma; and her many visits to Brigham's in Medford Square to get her must have mocha almond ice cream. Ann enjoyed cooking homemade meals. Family favorites included her delicious eggplant parmesan, rigatoni with meatballs and to die for cheese brownies.
Ann will be missed by her family and friends. She will never be forgotten.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, February 5th from 9 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service celebrated in the funeral home at 11AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
