Antonia Iacopucci, age 86, of Medford for over fifty years, passed away Thursday, February 2nd, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, following a brief illnes. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlo Iacopucci. Born in Fosciandora, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Cristina (Fontana) Torlai.
Mrs. Iacopucci was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by her family, especially her loving grandsons. She cherished time spent with her family and always looked forward to the next visit or the daily phone calls.
Mrs. Iacopucci is survived by her devoted son Joseph C. Iacopucci and his wife Ellen (Harrington) of Medford. She is also survived by her loving grandsons, Joseph C. Jr. and Anthony M. Iacopucci both of Medford. She is further survived by her brother, Leone Torlai and his wife Liberata of Stoneham and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her late husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Giuseppina Santini, Feruccia Santini and Lidia Iacopucci.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
