Eulalie "Lee" "Lolly" (Costa) Baker of New Bedford died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of Donald Baker.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Gabriel and Angelina (Estrella) Costa, she moved to New Bedford after her marriage.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in New Bedford.
Lolly was formerly employed by Kevy Manufacturing and Middleboro Nursing Home. She later worked with her mother as a seamstress until her retirement.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, vacationing and cruises.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; her brother-in-law, Thomas Halstead and his wife Zelda; her sister-in-law, Carol Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Manuel and Umberto Costa.
Lee's family would like to thank the staff at Sacred Heart Home for the compassionate care provided during her time there.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
