Daniel L. Trudell, age 37, died suddenly at home after a long battle with addiction on January 27, 2020. Dan was born in Dorchester then raised and educated in Weymouth. He graduated from the Weymouth Vocational High School in 2000 where he excelled in carpentry and discovered his passion of making furniture. He joined the carpenter’s local 33 in 2001 where he worked for many years. Dan also worked for Boston Garden, Fazio Construction, and Central Ceiling. Dan also enjoyed playing hockey, tennis, and was an avid Bruins fan.
Daniel is the son of Elaine Trudell and the late Kenneth Trudell, brother of Joe Trudell and his wife Courtney of Dorchester, Marilyn Fernandez and her husband Manolo of Weymouth, and Ken Trudell of Weymouth. Dan also leaves behind his son Brandon, and is the uncle of Cam, Ava, and Robert.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Daniel on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10am – Noon at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A service will take place immediately following the visitation at 12 noon. Cremation will follow.
