Luci Ann DiPrima, (FORMER OWNER OF SALON 44 IN CHARLESTOWN) a resident of East Boston and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 27, 2020 following an 11 month battle with cancer. She was 53 years of age.
Luci was born in Boston on May 5, 1966, a daughter of Priscilla R. (Flaherty) DiPrima and the late Santo S. DiPrima. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and the Boston Public School system. Luci attended Wilfred Beauty Academy and became a Hairdresser where she owned and operated Salon 44 in Charlestown for many years . Luci enjoyed spending summers on Cape Cod and the shores of Maine. She enjoyed antiques and loved to refurbish old furniture. Luci's greatest love of all was spending time with her beautiful daughter Alanna.
Luci is the loving mother of Alanna Lucia Treanor. She is the beloved daughter of Priscilla R. (Flaherty) DiPrima and the late Santo S. DiPrima. She is the devoted sister of Joseph DiPrima, Steven DiPrima and his wife Maria, Charles DiPrima and his wife Nubia, Rita Gingras and her husband Albert and Lisa Sgrosso and her husband Joseph. She is the loving aunt to Steven, Nicholas, Julia, Christopher and Gisel. She is also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friend Daniel Treanor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Luci's Funeral on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial is private. Her visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
