Harold C. "Buddy" Seguin, Jr., 83, of Acushnet died January 23, 2020 unexpectedly at home.
He was the husband of Claire A. (Talbot) Seguin.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Harold C. and Hazel (Sykes) Seguin, he lived in Acushnet most of his life.
He was formerly employed as a self-employed painter for many years.
Mr. Seguin served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a professional bowler and was inducted into the American Bowlers Association.
Survivors include his wife; 8 children, Anne Seguin, Barry Seguin, Dennis Seguin, Kenneth Seguin, Rita Sweet, Christine Jenny and her husband Mike, Jaime Seguin and Billy Arabian and his wife Laurie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Jean Nunes and Patricia Villa.
His Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 31st at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
