Robert Margaritis, 71, of Manchester, died February 2, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness.
He was born in Nashua on February 19, 1934, and was the son of Milton and Florence (April) Margaritis. Robert was a member of St. Marie Parish.
After High School he entered the United States Air Force as a flight engineer, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Until recently he worked as a service engineer for the Cumberland Farms Company.
He loved flying, going to the beach, and fishing. He looked forward to visits from his favorite golden retriever, Hunter. Robert was a Eucharistic Minister, with Out Reach Ministry, and a greeter at St. Marie Parish. He also volunteered as a Foster Grand Parent at the Skill Center.
Family members include his wife of 35 years Muriel “Miki” Margaritis, of Manchester; 3 daughters, Holly Wentworth, of Tilton, Michelle Cashwell, of Clermont FL, Pamela Gardner, of Hooksett; a son Mark Margaritis, of Franklin; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Leona Jean, of Epping, Anna Kreft, of VA.
He was predeceased by a son Christopher Margaritis, in 1990.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday February 13, 2006, in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Manchester.
Enurnment took place at the convenience of the family in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.

Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. corner of North St. assisted the family with the arrangements.
