Terry Alan Carter, 66, of Derry, NH, passed away on Friday January 24, 2020, at Parkland Medical Center, in Derry. He was born in Millinocket, ME on February 1, 1953, a son of Melvin and Beaulah (Hartley) Carter.
Terry loved spending time with his grandchildren, he was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed spending his free time riding and also a founder of the Derry/Salem Elks Freedom Riders. He greatly enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to music, working on cars and admiring various forms of art, including tattoos.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Janice Carter who took great care of him; two sons, Eric and Joshua Carter; grandchildren, Chloe, Hannah, Kaison and Rene; brother, Randy Carter, Melvin (Skip) Carter and several nieces and nephews. Terry is predeceased by his siblings, Gail Kennison, Carol Ruggier and Lynn Brousseau.
Following cremation, a service was held upstairs at the Derry/Salem Elks Lodge, 39 Shadow Lake Rd, Salem, NH 03079 on Friday, January 31st from 2-7pm. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
