ALFRED - Diana F. St. Hilaire, 71, of Alfred died at her home on January 24, 2020 after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Buxton on September 30, 1948. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Porter High School in 1966. She married Joseph St. Hilaire on December 12, 1965.
Diana worked for many years at S.A.D # 6 as an Audio-Visual Technician. She enjoyed going to yard sales in her spare time, and loved traveling to Walt Disney World in Florida. She will be best remembered for her love of her family and her love for children.
She is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Elsie (Dube) Dewitt. Diana is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, 1 month and 12 days, Joseph St. Hilaire of Alfred. Two children, Randy St. Hilaire and wife Dorothy of Windham, and Gina St. Hilaire of Sanford. Three sisters: Beverly Pruit of Florida, Barbara Lorino of Vermont and Phyllis Bond of Florida. Two brothers, Harold Thorne of New Hampshire and "Peanut" Thorne of Newfield. A sister-in-law, Barbara Thorne of Alfred. Also a grandson, Brett St. Hilaire, a great granddaughter, Addison St. Hilaire, several loving nieces and nephews, and last, but not least, her loving cat "Daisy".
