WORCESTER-Lawrence H. “Hooker” Koleshis, 77, formerly of 75 Seymour Street, died Thursday, February 2 in Saint Vincent Hospital. He leaves two brothers, Robert W. Koleshis, Sr. of Worcester and Stephen Koleshis, Sr. of Auburn, several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Charles Koleshis and two sisters, Sophia Mills and Anne Merril.
He was born in Worcester, son of Walter M. and Amelia (Pangonis) Koleshis. Mr. Koleshis worked at Dacor Manufacturing, Co. for many years retiring in 1990.
The funeral will be Tuesday, February 7 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Entombment will be in St. John’s Mausoleum. Calling hours are Monday February 6 from 6 until 8 PM in the funeral home.
