Barbara Lilly Sullivan, 94, of Ventura, passed away at her home on Monday afternoon, January 20, 2020.
Barbara was born on October, 28, 1925 in Fullerton, California and she was a resident of Ventura for the past 56 years coming from Fresno.
Barbara was a technician for 10 years at the Ventura County Assessors Office.
Barbara enjoyed singing, playing bridge, and collecting photographs of her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Mike Sullivan; her children: David Smithson, John Smithson, Howard Smithson and his wife Jacquelynn, Kathryn Sullivan, Tammy Reel, all of Ventura, and Louree Boyd, of Oregon; her grandchildren: Leah Gainer, Tiffany Herring, Andrew Long, Christopher Long, Sam Smithson, Trisha Kyte, Andrew Boyd, Timothy Reel, Matthew Reel, and Kaylee Reel; her great grandchildren: Ethan, Josiah, Matthew, Hannah, Zachary, Sage, Courtney, Holden, Hayden, Hudson, Kashmir, Oleander, Achilles, and Jamison.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Wednesday afternoon January 29, 2020 from 1 to 5pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 2pm in the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 10800 Telegraph Road Ventura. Interment will then immediately follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
