James J. LaCascia, Jr. of Medford passed away Saturday evening, January 18, 2020, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. He was 58. A lifelong resident of Medford, "Jackie" as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was one of three children of Joan P. (Corrado) LaCascia of Medford and the late James J. "Jack" LaCascia.
Jackie was a graduate of Medford High School and has worked for many years as a tile setter and was a member of the Tile Setters Union Local 3 of Boston.
In addition to his late father, Jackie is sadly predeceased by his brother, the late Peter LaCascia. He is survived by his brother, Richard "Rick" LaCascia and his wife Marlene of Tewksbury. He was the loving uncle of Tiffany Clark and her husband Jonathan, P.J. LaCascia, Nicholas and Matthew LaCascia. He is also survived by his great niece, Nolie Clark.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, Monday, January 27th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Arrangements by the Dello Russo Family Funeral Service of Medford.
